The staff and the host were all very friendly and amicable. The property was in the middle of the city. There were a good choice of restaurants to eat, like Gastrobar Boca that was only 5 minutes' walk away.

The location was great - ease of access to a performing arts theater. It also was directly in front on the chimney of a restaurant.

The location was particularly good and stunning, around 10-15 minutes walk from Anatomisch Museum Leiden. Staff were amicable, room was well-appointed and big...

The location was marvellous, within easy walking distance of Botanical Gardens. And it was also really close to shops, shopping street, and the centre of the sink.

This hotel was located in the heart of the city and had everything within walking distance. It was a charming building with a modern design feel. The rooms were very clean and had lots of character. The coffee machine in the room was a great touch.
The check-in process could be confusing for those not familiar with digital key systems.

I had an amazing stay at Cty Books in the heart of the city. The room I stayed in had a breathtaking view of the canal right from the bed. The hotel itself is centrally located, making it convenient to explore the city on foot. The check-in process was seamless and easy with the smartphone app. The room was clean, modern, and had a unique blend of old and new architectural elements. I also appreciated the kitchen area in the room, which was a bonus for the price. I highly recommend Cty Books for a great stay in Leiden.
Although the entrance of the hotel is on a pedestrian-only street, it was a short and pleasant walk from the car drop-off point. However, it would be beneficial to have a security guest key code for the elevator near the street entrance.

Plus, having a small kitchen in the room was a great convenience. Lastly, the service provided by the staff was exceptional. They were so responsive and always went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. I also appreciated the attention to detail, like the little touches in the rooms and the delicious breakfast.
All in all, everything was up to standard.

Our Thanksgiving stay was amazing! we were delighted with the complimentary wine and local sweets that were waiting for us in our room. The location was perfect for our needs, just a stone's throw away from the best cafes and restaurants in the city. the electronic check-in was super simple and hassle-free. Lastly, we loved how well-kept and clean everything was.
We found it difficult to get assistance with any queries we had during our stay, particularly with regards to the temperature in our room. we were disappointed that there was no breakfast service available, and it would have been great to have had a bit more information available about the local area.

Cty Books is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. The hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable prices for well-appointed rooms. I loved the attention to detail, especially the rooms with a view over the canal. The small kitchenette was a bonus, allowing me to prepare simple meals and save a bit on dining out. The hotel staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay.
The only minor downside was the lack of a door separating the kitchenette/sofa area and the bedroom. everything was satisfactory.

We spent our Easter weekend in this hotel and we enjoyed the fantastic location right in the heart of the town. The hotel was surrounded by plenty of cafes, shops, and bars within a two-minute walk. The views from our room were spectacular, especially when we could see the canal. we appreciated the easy check-in process.
The lack of communication with the staff was frustrating. There was no information available in the room or anyone to ask questions.
